Live Shows

Seeing Pavement reunited in Atlanta at the Tabernacle. Best show in a long time, and one off of my music bucket list, as it were. Even though I have no cellphone thanks to their ubiquity I have easy access to many fan shot photos of the night. It was I think on the last leg of their American tour, but they were contrary to their characterization as the most unprofessional slackers of a band, professional. Playing all the classics a fan could want and doing two encores. That is a band ladies and gentlemen that loves to play. Period.

The only other music I saw this year was Steel Pulse in Jax and Dead Prez in Gainesville. Both of which were good shows. But neither meant too me what the Pavement show did.
